Vehicle availability in real time
Thunderbike
Thunderbike carries a large, constantly changing range of new and used vehicles. The website should show at any time which variant is available immediately or what delivery time to expect – without anyone maintaining the information by hand.
- Import
Stock levels arrive via Excel import, automatically and with a log.
- Dashboard
A custom backend with a database calculates the status for each variant – across multiple warehouse locations.
- Interface
A REST interface delivers availability, delivery time and price to the website.
- Display
A WordPress plugin shows the notices on every vehicle and switches with the variant without reloading.
3 months to build · multiple warehouse locations · notices live on all vehicle pages

Frequently asked questions
Will it stay compatible after WordPress updates?
Yes. I develop to WordPress standards and use only official interfaces. For larger changes to WordPress, I adapt your extension.
What does a plugin cost?
That depends on the scope. After the requirements analysis, you get a binding fixed price.
Can you adapt existing extensions?
Yes, even if they come from other developers. I look at them first so I can estimate the effort.
Does it have to be WordPress?
No. The Thunderbike dashboard and the client portal of the Offenlegungs-XML Editor (a tool for XML disclosure files of annual financial statements) run standalone with their own database; WordPress only displays what it should display.
Is there support after launch?
Yes. I continue to look after your software – with maintenance, updates and further development, as a block of hours or a monthly flat fee.
Got a product idea?
Tell me about it. In a free initial call – 30 minutes by video or phone – we clarify the goal, the scope and the most sensible way forward. Then you receive a non-binding quote.
